Aren't these kids adorable....

More Snow

It started snowing this week on the way to Cubbies and by the time we got home we had a couple of inches. By the time we woke up the next morning it was all gone :(

Pillow Pets

These boys love their pillow pets!!!

Merry Christmas!!

We had such a nice relaxing Christmas season. Shopping was fun, baking was mostly fun, being with family, watching Christmas movies and and eating!! Let's not forget about the the most important reason...celebrating the birth of Jesus!! I love my family and feel so greatly blessed!!

The top pictures are from Christmas Eve. We let the boys open their stockings and open their new pjs. This years theme was Star Wars. Stockings are such a fun part of the day. I really look forward to finding the perfect little things to put in them. One of the favorites this year were little wind up toys...not sure why but my kids just love them. Chris and I also have some things that we do for each other every year like the chocolate orange. I had never seen them until I met him. Next year I might ask for the raspberry orange. They are so fun!!

Happy Birthday Chris!!

We celebrated most of Chris' birthday at the Great Wolf Lodge but when we got home we had cake!! And then pretty much passed out. We were so tired from swimming and the drive. He was very excited about his birthday present....a portable GPS.

Great Wolf Lodge

Ahhhh the Great Wolf Lodge...my new favorite place!! I have wanted to take the kids here for quite some time but figured Levi was too small so we waited. I booked our room a few months ago for a GREAT price so even better.

When we got there we started to wait in the super long line until someone gave us wrist bracelets to use the swimming area. So we quickly got our bags out of the car and got changed. The first day of swimming went okay. Sammy was pretty afraid of the water and especially the slides but finally warmed up. Levi on the other hand loved the water. The sprayers are his favorite and if he would have been tall enough he would have went down the slides and never looked back. He is quite a dare devil.

Now knowing we would have to put our swim stuff in a locker I packed it all in a separate bag so we could just grab it from the car. What I did not think about was packing diapers in the bag. I did however think to pack swim diapers. When I was getting Levi dressed after we went swimming I thought shoot I don't have any diapers...it won't take that long to check in we will be fine....We make our way into the lobby and begin the one hour wait. (One hour was rediculious) The kids are getting antsy so I decide to take a walk with them. We make it in to the MagiQuest store and I feel the warmth on my shirt...Levi just peed on me. Gross!! Now I have to wait in line with him while my shirt is drenched in pee. I will just say it was a loooonnnggg wait!!

That night we went down into the lobby where they have a bedtime story and then we got to see the snow fall inside the lodge. It was such a fun trip!! The boys got to see Santa. They LOVED the MagiQuest too. It was a great way to spend Chris' birthday. We can't wait to go back this summer!!

Happy 2nd Birthday Levi!!

Wow!! I haven't blogged in two months!! I guess life gets busy with kids. There is so much to catch up on. Levi turned two and for his birthday we kept it pretty low key. The week before we went down to visit our parents for Thanksgiving so we celebrated with them them. I took the boys to get a Mickey Donalds for lunch but Levi feel asleep in the car so he ate his when he woke up. Then when daddy got home we went out to Red Robin. Haha we don't usually eat out that much but it was a special day. Earlier in the day Levi got to open a few gifts from me and Sammy. He got a new outfit to wear for the day (Two Toy Story shirts and a pair of jeans and a TS gun from Sammy.) Later when we got home we got home he got to open his last present (A giant Buzz Lightyear) and have some cake!!

I will say the first two years of his life were a really big struggle for me but now things are much better. He still has his days but who doesn't. He is truly a joy!! He makes me look at the world in a different light. The faces he makes and the things he says just crack me up. I LOVE hearing him talk. He's such a blessing!!

Let is Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow

Right before Thanksgiving we got snow!! We had so much fun throwing snow balls, making snow angels and even building a snow man. Since we don't get much snow out here I had to dig out some hats and mittens for the boys to wear. They LOVE snow!! Actually this was Levi's first time in the snow! It has snowed a few more times since that but not enough to really play in so the boys are bummed. But maybe we will still get one more snow storm so they can play one last time!!
