I told Sammy today that we needed to have a pickup parade and he said "okay throw some candy at me" i just thought this was so funny!!!!

The Farmer's Market & More

We really enjoy going to the Farmer's Market. There are a few in town but the one in downtown Puyallup is my favorite. We always get a hawaiian shave ice and walk around. They have really good kettlekorn too. There is a new little restaurant we went to also. It is called the Bagel Boyz Bistro...it just opened so we stopped to get some ice cream and then got some bagels to go. Levi loved the ice cream...he got really mad when it was gone!!! The wading pool was finally full this time so we took advantage of that!! We gotta find some way to cool down!!

Oh yeah Levi got his first tooth last week. Now I am just waiting til he bites me!!

We Should Be Sleeping

The boys have been having some problems going to sleep lately. It could be that it stays light out for so long or maybe it is this crazy heat wave we are having. After getting Sammy to bed Levi wanted to play so I was watching him for a bit and then in strolls Sammy. Get to bed kids....mommy and daddy need to get watching Prison Break. (Now that I have read the Twilight Saga I needed something else to do so we have been watching PB...So good)

Bath Time

Levi is finally big enough to sit in the bathtub. But that comes with a downside too. He stands up a lot so I have to sit him back down and tell him no but he stood up one time and was trying to drink from the faucet. Glad I got it on video. He is so cute. He started sucking his thumb too. He always seems to have his hand in a thumbs up so he can get it in his mouth faster. It is really nice to be able to put both boys in the bath and the same time but Sammy usually prefers the shower.

Picnic At the Park

A few weekends ago we went to Spanaway Lake. I have been wanting to go for a while but every time we would try something would come up. One day we were getting ready when Sammy told me his belly was hurting and when I picked him up off the floor he felt like he was on fire...so we had to stay home. He just had a really high fever and nothing else. They have a really nice trail around the lake that we will have to explore another day. We just had a picnic and played on the playground. It was Levi's first time on the swings.

Crazy Kids

Sammy and Levi are the best. I just love taking care of them. Levi seems to be getting better by the day. His colic/crankiness is pretty much gone. He seems to be on a pretty good daily schedule. That makes things easy. He is such a little stinker tho. He is crawling so fast and pulling up on everything. I can never sit down for long. He's always going for something he can't have. He is getting his first tooth right now. He has been way happier than Sammy was. Sammy was just miserable when he got his first tooth!!! I have been using Orajel and Tylenol. He seems happy with that. He has also been sleeping a lot better. Last night was seven hours in his crib. I knew this day would come!! YAY.

Sammy is getting so big. I can't believe how tall he is!!! The improvement he has had in his speech is amazing!!! The words come out clear and strangers can understand him. At this time last year he was saying around five words and wasn't using any sentences. I can't believe I was worried about him. I am so proud of him. I need to get some videos of him. He is funny!!!

That is about it. Summer has been pretty slow. We've been taking walks and hanging out at the park. Eating lots of yummy stuff on the grill. Hope everyone is having a nice summer.

I keep trying to see Levi's gums but he won't show me. So I got some nice shots of his drooly face.

Bandaids Bandaids

I don't know what Sammy's obsession with Bandaids is but he always has one on somewhere. He never even used to like them. If he got hurt he wouldn't let us put one on him. Now he wants like ten. So yesterday I was picking up the kitchen and he comes walking down the steps with one his nose. What he was thinking..I couldn't tell you!!!

Levi & Syrah

Last weekend we had our friends over for dinner and games on Friday night. Their daughter Syrah is eight months old. Her and Levi played together together with toys. Well maybe not together but next to each other. They were so cute together. Sammy decided to sleep the entire time they were over so he missed out.

Fouth of July: Part Two

For the actual 4th we go to Chris's parents' house. We start the day out with going to the town parade. His brother always provides us with a huge fireworks show that seems to go on for most of the day. We really look forward to this day. We had a nice BBQ, water balloon fights and the guys played some hoops. All in all it was a really fun day. The hardest part is that we drive home after the fireworks and get home pretty late. Today we feel terrible but it is worth the fun. Just tired from the long weekend.

Fourth of July: Part One

We headed down to my moms house on Thursday to see my family. My brother is in town for a visit before he heads to Puerto Rico for three years and my sister left for California on Saturday. She is so good with the kids I am really going to miss her living in Seattle. We just hung out on the deck and had a few BBQs. It was nice to see family but also nice to be back home.
