Yard Work

Last weekend we did a lot of yard work. It was so nice to be outside. I planted lots of new flowers. Chris put in some new bark and picked weeds, mowed and then fertilized the lawn. Now he is setting up some new furniture for the backyard. Gotta go help.

Photo Shoot

Today we took the boys to get their pictures taken at JCP. I was worried she wasn't going to take enough pictures but she did and they turned out great. I love them!!

New Pictures

Not much is new here. Sammy is going on a week tomorrow with no accidents!!! I am so excited!! My sister left yesterday for Alaska. She will be gone for three months this time and we are really going to miss her. My mom came over this week on Monday and stayed until Wednesday. It was nice to have her here. We did a little shopping and went to Costco. I love that place.

Since Levi is eating rice cereal he is sleeping much better. It is so nice. He still sleeps with us most nights. It is so much easier to feed him. We don't have much planned for this weekend but I do have some pictures I need to post from doing yard work. I still need to take the after pictures. Now I am headed out to pick up Chris and go to the mall.

BIG NEWS

Well big news to me!!! Sammy is potty trained!!! OMG I am so happy :) Thats it. I thought it would never happen. Go Sammy!!!

My Boys

I just love watching Sammy and Levi together. It is the sweetest thing. I can't believe how much Sammy really loves being a brother. Today they were playing doctor.

Levi likes to play with toys now and he rolled over today. What a big day for the little guy :)

Hoppy Easter

I am just getting around to posting about Easter now. I have had a busy week. Things feel better today. I actually have energy :) How nice is that!!! We didn't do much for Easter. We did baskets for the kids and an egg hunt for Sammy. We talked to Sammy about Easter and prayed together and that was about it. I was going to make a nice meal for the day but Levi was crabby so Chris took us out to a new restaurant. I thought it was really good. It was nice to relax with the family.

One of Those Days

Life is rough today. I love my baby but things have been difficult lately. He won't nurse he is super fussy and has been really warm. He has a really bad diaper rash that could be a yeast infection from the antibiotics but I am not sure. I think it is his ear...he looks like he might be pulling on it a bit. When he had his checkup last week his doctor said there was still fluid in it but that was normal. I just want the little guy to get better. The last two nights he woke up and won't go back to sleep. I just have to hold him and sometimes he doesn't even like that. I am taking him back to the doctor today so hopefully we can get this thing solved.

On another note Sammy does not want to potty train. His doctor said it is called potty training resistence. It is so frustrating!!! For now we are going to back off and hope he wants to do it on his own.

His hearing test went as good as expected. He didn't really want to cooperate. They also cancelled our appt but forgot to call us so we showed up anyway. They ended up fitting us in but not for a few hours so we went and had lunch with Chris. Sammy's speech is getting so much better. The things he says are so cute. Lately he keeps saying on a boat. Like his auntie. He is so cute. I can't believe how grown up he is.

With all the fussiness going on in my house I am finding it hard to keep up with chores. My house is a mess!! I don't want to talk to anyone or do anything. I want to watch tv or sleep. What a life. LOL. Hopefully things will be looking up soon. Next weekend the weather is supposed to be super nice!!! Can't wait :)

MMMMM....Rice Cereal

Levi started rice cereal on Wednesday. I don't know how much he likes it yet. He seemed to smile a lot but didn't get a lot in his mouth. I can't believe he is old enough to start on cereal. Pretty soon it will be his first birthday...YIKES!!! Guess we will have to have another one :) J/K not yet!!!

Fun Day with Chris's Family

Today Chris's family made a trip up to see us. It was very nice for them to come up here. We spent the day playing Guitar Hero and Apples to Apples. Sammy got some birthday presents from his Uncle Matt and the boys had fun playing with them outside. He loves bubbles :) We also finally got a family picture :)

Fun Weekend at Grandmas

Last weekend we went to my moms house to hang out. The weather was so so nice. Spring was finally here (it is gone again) Chris took our car in to get a new windshield while I stayed at my moms with the kids. We sat outside on the deck and enjoyed the day. Sammy got to ride on Grandpa's lawn mower for a good chunk of the day. He loved it :)
On Sunday we went to visit some friends and had a bbq. It was very nice to see everyone. Sammy played with his friend Lukas...they rode around on his new power wheels. They had a blast.

Boy's Checkups

Levi and Sammy had their well child checkups this week. Levi had three shots and an oral one and Sammy had to get one too. Sammy took it much better than I thought. Sammy is going to have a hearing test done today. He actually failed his newborn hearing screening but passed a few days later at the doctors office but with his speech the way it is they just want to check it out. Wish him luck :)

Wow he has grown. They checked his blood pressure (good) and his vision 20/20. Yay Sammy.

Good News

We are finally starting to feel better!!! YAY!!! I never thought I would be so happy to write that :) Now hopefully this thing is gone for good!!! We went around the house cleaning off door handles, light switches, phones, remotes and everything thing else to get rid of the sick germs. Hope it was enough.

On another good note...Sammy finally peed in the potty last night!!! It has been such a huge ordeal!! I was ready to give up. I just hope he sticks with it!! I am so proud of him!! This is the most frustrating thing I have ever done with him so wish us luck!!!

Four Months Old

Levi is gasp...four months old already. Where is the time going already. He gets cuter by the day. He is starting to feel better but the medicine he is on is kind of harsh. His eyes are totally clear now. Good thing. Some of his favorite things include
-eating his hands or blankets
-pooping in clean diapers
-smiling and laughing
-trying to sit up (we call this his pilates)
-making spit bubbles
-looking at his feet
His four month checkup is on Tuesday so then I can see how big he is for sure but last week he was 16.1 lbs. My little chunker :)

My Birthday

Last Sunday was my birthday!! Wow...I am 26 now. Crazy!!! It was such a nice day. Sam can over to watch the boys and gave us some movie tickets. We did a little bit of shopping and got some Cold Stone and then saw the movie I love you, man. It was so nice to watch a movie and not be distracted and the movie was pretty funny. Chris made me an almond cheesecake from scratch. He is a really good cook. I wish he made stuff all the time :) I am so excited I got a digital photo frame and some new perfume. What a great birthday :)
