Happy Father's Day Chris

We don't really do much for Father's Day. We ate some donuts together for breakfast and later in the day we made some chocolate fondue. We started a new tradition of making cards for each other. It is so easy and fun. Sammy and I found a cute card that is a button down shirt with a tie. I put it together and Sammy decorated it. Next year it will be fun to include Levi. Later on I am going to make beef stroganoff and peanut butter banana milkshakes...yummy!!! We love you Chris :)

Not Much New Here

Not much is new around here. We don't have any big plans for this summer. We've just been going on walks around the neighborhood. Sammy asks to go every night and sometimes we even go in the morning. We always stop by the park and play for a bit. It is nice to have Sammy let some energy out. He has been sleeping so great at night.

Six Month Checkup

Levi had his six month checkup on Wednesday. He is getting sooooo big.

Levi that crazy baby is crawling!!! I wasn't ready for this!!! We will need to get a gate. He isn't that fast and I don't leave him alone so I am not worried about him falling down the stairs. But get this...today I went in his room to get him and was STANDING up holding onto his crib of course but still!!! Who is this kid?? He is only six months old!!! Some days I miss my baby but it is fun watching him learn new things. His mad face :(

Great Grandmas

We went over to Chris's grandmas house after we left my parents house. Chris always has a great time hanging out with his brothers. They played with water balloons just like little kids...it's fun to watch.

Weekend at Nonny's

We decided to take a trip down to visit our families last weekend. It was fun. The food is always so good. My mom made kebabs. Yummy they were so good. My mom and dad watched Sammy for a bit on Saturday. Sammy loves it!!! I didn't get any pictures this time of them on the lawn mower but he kept asking the entire time we were there. The weather always changes when we visit. It was 90 when we left our house and by the time we got there (3 hours away) it was 60.

Sammy

Sammy is getting so big too. He is so tall!! He wanted to listen to my Ipod a few days ago so I just let him. He really loves music. Especially Lady Gaga. He calls it the mo mo song instead of Poker Face.
His vocabulary is so impressive. He was hardly talking 6-8 months ago and now he tries to imitate everything we say. He's funny!!!

Six Months Old

Levi turned six months old on the 2nd. I know I say this every month but I really cannot believe how fast the time is going by. He is changing so much. He is going to be crawling any day. He is already army crawling. I just wonder how we got to this stage already. He only has two moods. HAPPY and SUPER MAD. His little temper can be a challenge but when I see him happy it makes up for it. He tires to feed himself and likes eating baby food. His six month checkup was supposed to be today but I got really sick last night and had to reschedule for Wednesday. He has got to be close to twenty pounds. Such a chunker.

Matching Outfits

The boys finally wore matching outfits a few days ago. They looked so cute. It didn't last long since Levi has to puke on everything!!!

Date Night

On Sunday my sister was nice enough to watch the boys for us so we could go on a date!!! It was so refreshing for us...so nice to just focus on us. We really needed it!! We went to the mall and Chris traded in some games and got some new ones. We also reserved Guitar Hero: Smash Hits which I can't wait to play!!! Then we went to Applebees for some dinner. I wish we could have dates more often :)
